For Where’s my Backpack today, I thought I’s show you some photos I took during a trip to Rome a couple of summers ago with my family.
It was a hot day in August, we went to Albano, a small town in the Castelli Romani to celebrate two of my son’s birthdays and took advantage of being near Rome to see the Colosseum.
Here are just a few of the shots I took on the inside of the Colosseum…where the gladiators, slaves and wild animals awaited their turn to be called to entertain the crowds:

Rome has always been a bucket list trip…just not sure if I will ever get there.
How I understand that…I’m always wanting to go somewhere…recently Australia or New Zealand…but theyr’e so far away!
