I know it’s not proper
It’s a grave error
for photos to be taken
against the bright sun!
But
I’m just an old rebel
never followed the rules
so why should I start now
when I’m nearly 62?
I love this great age
of digital cameras
of fancy great Programs
that clean up my mess!
It allows me to play
in the most vital way
with whate’er takes my fancy
without worrying too much!
So I was walking one day
along a long path
a bright promenade
and I saw the bright sun!
My eyes were amazed
at the light and the shadow
and I just took the photos
without thinking too much.
Now I may not here qualify
to be a great photographer
but think you this will stop me
I think not!

N.B. this is actually a view of Lido di Arco or Port Arco…historically it was ceded to Arco so that it could have a port on the lake. Many people consider that it should be Torbole…but that’s not why I labelled them that way…I was just distracted. I know that wars have been fought for less…but let’s hope no one from Arco decides to shoot the photographer.
