One Four Challenge – February 16, 2015

This week … I’m still living off some work I got done a couple of weeks ago when my Internet connection was down … And from a painted rose I went in this direction:

  1. Oh, Georgia! I didn’t think it was possible to get better than the vintage-looking rose. But wow …. a splash of yellow — GORGEOUS. You really outdid yourself. Again.

Am I gushing? Well — this deserves it. Awesome stuff. πŸ™‚

    • Thanks …. this was actually a double monochrome job I took it to sepia first and then keeping the tea-rose colour of the rose turned the whole thing black and white.

  3. I like this a lot, the soft water colour effect works really well and the touch of yellow against the BW is soft and muted but still noticeable πŸ™‚

    • Thanks for your really wonderful critique … I liked the water colour effect very much and it was interesting to see what happened when I b/w the photo then turned it to sepia and then just centred the colour on the flower turning the rest of the photo b/w again… really fun!
