  1. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! I can’t put enough exclamation marks after that so you’ll have to settle with just one. Seriously though — I love this shot.

    • Thanks .. I’m really happy you enjoyed it … and of course, I’m sorry to say it was doctored to get that “eminence” effect. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to do it .. nothing purple popped up … but a snow photo did so I used the “shading” effect from Picasa 3 to create the sunrise effect.

      • No worries — it’s beautifully done, and I seriously doubt that all of the entries are “natural”. And that’s on any given week. Pretty much everything is doctored these days.

        As for me — I have two great photos but not sure what to *say* about them. (Oh, the trials and tribulations of being a poet first, photographer second!) o.O

        Loved your photo though — beautiful. Just beautiful!

      • Well as you saw, I didn’t say anything … it is a one word challenge n’est pas? I’m sure you’re right about doctoring … but heaven’s that’s half the fun!
