For 30 DOH … I went for a walk in the olive groves above the “frazione” of Massoni, which like Bolognano where I live was once a town but is now part of Arco, I came across this fence:

Great photo and haiku. 😀
Thanks Raewyn … That one was particularly suggestive 🙂
This is exactly what a haiga should be, imo. Gorgeous image, deep haiku. Love it!
1 in around 40 ain’t bad! Really all this popping off instant haiku/haiga probably isn’t good for the art itself … but hell, I’m having fun 😉
And that’s all that’s important in the end, right?
Besides, how many people follow us – who never heard of haiga before – have said, “hey, I should try that sometime”? That has to be very good for the art. 🙂
Truhttps://wordpress.com/notifications/#e … very true.
Opps … I wrote true very true and a weird thing got sent instead .. please disregard it and dump it.
Weird — it shows up in my notifications but I can’t delete it or approve it. It’s in comment “limbo”!
Darn … don’t know what happened … I wrote the comment and as I published it that thing came up! Can’t imagine what I did.
Weird!

Wistful gate; glad there’s no fence; nature seems to be ambling free. with nostalgia for company. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Maureen, glad you liked the haiga … the photograph came out nicely and I liked the fact that thee was a gate without a fence.
