I came across this lovely challenge thanks to another blogger, as often happens!
This blog is called Lens and Pens by Sally. Here let me let her give you the instructions:
Here’s how the Phoneography Challenge works:
1. Each Monday a theme will be posted. You can publish your entry at any time, preferably on Monday or by Sunday of the week of the theme. Please add any information about the entry (apps, brand of phone…)… for the rest of the info and how to participate click the link!
So I thought I’d have a try at this weeks challenge: Phoneography Challenge: Black and White
I usually use my Oympus to take photographs, but sometimes it’s just handier to pull our my cel phone, a Nokia 202, which is not the newest of the Nokia line, but it has the advantage of still having a proper key pad along with touch screen!
I elaborated this with Picasa 3 using the filtered black and white option after I had finished elaborating the color photo, which is this:
I filtered the green to get a more uniform photo in black and white!
This weeks photo Challenge…unexpected!
A while back, on November 5th in fact, Canadian Travel Bugs came up with a great prompt for her Tourist in my Town in fact this month she’s looking for statues! “If anyone wants to join visit the above link to the orginal post and in the comment section put a link to your post so we can find lots of cool sculpture in just a click away.
Stay tuned the first weekend of each month there will be a new theme.”
Well my village doesn’t really have a lot of statues, so I showed showed her some from Riva del Garda, Arco and Rovereto. But Bolognano does have one statue…it’s weird and is the property of our local credit union bank…so I took some pictures walking all around it! I’m afraid I don’t really know what it represents, as it doesn’t have a plaque or anything, however it was interesting to photograph from all sides.
Have a great evening…I’ll see you tomorrow! Ciao!
Hello again! For the Weekly Challenge (layers)…
Layers are many things…what about landscape going up a mountains side 🙂
This one might not really fit into the challenge, but I really liked it so I’m going to post it anyway:

Have a great day!
Photographers, artists, poets: show us a PERSPECTIVE.
Two perspectives…two points of view:
down the road
The two perspectives are: looking up as I go to my house along an alley, and the main street of Bolognano, in front of our coop.
Hope you enjoyed my points of view 😉
Ah yes…was forgetting…it’s Wednesday and so along with many other people throughout cyberworld I’m going to post a photo without an explanation!
Have a great day everyone! Ciao!
Hello again! For the Weekly Challenge (layers), yesterday, I showed you layers of clouds…and told you I’d try to figure out something else for today!
So, now let’s look at layers of leaves! Grape leaves mostly, because I live in a grape growing community.
layers of leaves…and pots!
I’ve got several of this next picture, basically because I’m in love with this old abandoned house!
Layered house (black and white)
Tomorrow…I’ve got something up my sleeve…we had a lovely break in the rains, so I’ve been out taking some sunny pictures!
You have a great day in the meantime and don’t forget to have a look at some of the other participants in the challenge!
