Ducklings, boat and pylons

Ducklings, boat and pylons

Walking towards the old port in Riva del Garda I saw these old pylons among them there are three ducklings with their mother and a little further out two peddling boat and a tourist cruiser.

I walked on towards the old port itself, and I decided to do a close-up of the top of two pylons, you can see the old port in the background.

Unlike the first three pylons these are still in use.  They’re part of a group that are used to moor one of the larger ferry boats.  Here’s a photograph of how their bolted together, you can see another part of the old port, this time from a different angle.

The first photograph was taken near the Monument to lost Seamen…that will go for our  “Sunday Walk” tomorrow.

Have a great Saturday!
