Photo Challenge-Curves it is said that in nature there are no straight lines. Today’s challenge is to photograph curves.
This is a large “canal” that runs through Padova (Actually the Brent River but everyone calls it the canal, don’t know why).
I raise the camer just a bit and there is the Ponte Romana!
I passed a few hours, guest at the History Faculty’s Library…but before I arrived there, we stopped off at the Tana del Lupolo in fronto of the faculty for our morning coffee. I was fascinated with the roofing of the “porticato”, covered walkways which are abundant in Padova!
I’ll just start here this morning…and hope you have a nice day!

I like the curves in the river!
I agree with you…I love rivers and this one is very pretty with it’s curves and reflections.

Now, I really, REALLY want to know why locales called it “il canale”. 🙂
I really don’t know why, unles of course, there are also some canals the lead off from the river and so everything for convenience sake becomes il canale!
